Full Time Direct Patient Care, Zanesville, OH, US – Requisition  (3 days ago)

As a Hospice RN, you will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life for patients and supporting families during some of their most important moments. Working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you'll deliver compassionate care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace. This is a field‑based role requiring travel to patient homes and care facilities throughout the Zanesville service region.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑4:30 pm, rotating weekend commitment (approximately every six weeks) and participation in a holiday rotation.

Qualifications of this role:

• Registered nurse in good standing (no board actions)
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification preferred. Ohio's Hospice supports professional growth and offers opportunities for eligible employees to obtain certification.
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills in pain and symptom management, patient assessment, and care planning
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to accurately document patient care and services in electronic medical records
• Valid Ohio driver's license with a safe driving record and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10‑panel drug screening
