Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care primarily on the Respiratory unit, with occasional floating across various Med-Surg units. This position requires at least 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience, with proficiency in Epic EMR and active Ohio RN license. The role involves night shifts with every other weekend commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Respiratory unit and Med-Surg units.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR, maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly to promote optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Ohio RN license.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
- Show proficiency in Epic EMR without need for refresher training.
- Possess current BLS certification.
- Be able to read and interpret telemetry data confidently, passing on-site competency testing.
