Registered Nurse – Renal Med-Surg
Schedule:
Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, every other weekend required.
Assignment Details:
Contract length: 13 weeks, guaranteed hours: 36.
Requirements:
- Active state RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory, no training provided)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients
- Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units
Compliance / Notes:
Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13 week contract. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission and added into the confirmation page for it to be honored.
