Unarmed Security Officer - Access Control
Location:
Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule:
Part-Time (32 hours/week)
* Saturday and Sunday 7am to 3pm
* Monday and Tuesday 11pm to 7am.
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer - Access Control to provide security services at an industrial facility. This position is primarily focused on access control operations, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are permitted entry. A strong emphasis is placed on professionalism, customer service, and strict adherence to security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage access control points for personnel, visitors, and vehicles
* Verify identification, credentials, and authorization in accordance with site policies
* Maintain accurate access logs and visitor records
* Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized access
* Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas as required
* Monitor security systems, including cameras and alarms
* Respond appropriately to security incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
* Complete clear and accurate incident and activity reports
* Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors
Qualifications & Requirements
* Valid driver's license required
* Must have the ability to obtain an Ohio Security Guard Card
* Security experience preferred
* Customer service or public-facing experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail and observational skills
* Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional at all times
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform routine patrols

* Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
* Follow all post orders, safety procedures, and company policies
