Unarmed Security Officer
Location:
Zanesville, OH
Schedules: 8:00am-4:00pm
4:00pm-12:00am
12:00am-8:00am
Must be available weekends
Pay: $15.30 per hour (bi-weekly pay)
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide safety and protection for a large warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible security presence, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and ensure compliance with site safety policies.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and control access to the facility and designated areas
* Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property
* Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or safety concerns
* Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm and professional manner
* Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
* Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
* Follow all company and client policies and procedures
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Valid state-issued security license or ability to obtain one (if applicable)
* Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
* Strong observation and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout the shift
* Must be able to pass a background check
Shift & Environment
* Daylight shift (8 AM and 4 PM)
* Afternoon shift(4 PM-12 AM)
* Overnight shift(12 AM-8 AM)
* Indoor/outdoor environment with periodic foot patrols
* Must be comfortable working alone or with limited supervision
