Insurance Benefits Coordinator
This position will be the point of contact for all questions related to insurance benefits. Responsibilities include coordinating all benefits questions for Zeeland Public Schools employees and working closely with MESSA and other insurance providers. Support staff as they work through enrollment and changes in their insurance status with MESSA. Ensure proper correspondence regarding employee benefits are sent, either from MESSA or ZPS, in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates degree and prior related work experience preferred. Must have a high degree of integrity to maintain confidentiality of all administration office matters. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to relay a variety of information between community members, substitute teachers, job applicants and employees. Knowledge, skill, and physical ability to operate various office equipment including computers, software programs, copy machine, telephone system and calculator is required.
Must have the ability to work effectively in an environment where interruptions are frequent and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to use independent judgment, display flexibility, and have the ability to work independently, without supervision, and make decisions in accordance with district policies and procedures.
Schedule:
Up to 15 hours/week Compensation:
Level 5 - Range is $20.95-$24.52/hr. depending on years of relative work experience. Replacement Position Once the posting deadline date has been met, the supervisor will review applications and schedule interviews with the most qualified candidates.
