Special Education Paraprofessional 1:1
The Special Education Paraprofessional 1:1 will work directly with the designated student to provide behavioral and academic support. Responsibilities include providing behavioral and academic assistance to students, under the direction of the teacher and principal. They will provide prompting and redirection for engagement in academic tasks and other school activities. They will develop positive relationships with students and staff. They will effectively follow class management procedures, as well as individual behavioral plans.
They will assist with student hygiene needs, as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. CPI Certification or willingness to be trained on-site.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday School Year 7.5 Hours per day Compensation:
Level I - $14.31 - $16.76 for Non-certified Level II - $15.74- $18.42 for Certified Teacher Additional stipend based on student's level of need (prorated based on date of hire)
