GSRP Preschool Classroom Assistant

The GSRP Preschool Classroom Assistant will provide assistance to the GSRP teacher in the Spanish Immersion PreK classroom, according to the grant requirements, in order to provide quality instructional service for the children enrolled in the preschool program. Responsibilities include assisting the GSRP teacher to implement developmentally appropriate Spanish Immersion curriculum in the classroom, assisting the GSRP teacher in all activities, programs, and preparation as defined in the GSRP Implementation Guide, ability to perform set-up and maintenance of a warm, inviting environment, and following all licensing requirements as set forth by the state of Michigan.

Qualifications include a high school diploma required;
Child Development Associate (CDA) is preferred. Experience working with preschool children is preferred. A fluent Spanish speaker is preferred.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday during student calendar 35 hours per week.

Compensation: PREB
- Level I - $14.28 - $16.66 PREB
- Level II with CDA certification - $15.66 - $18.34.
