ICademy Global High School Mentor and Business and Career Teacher; Grades 9-12

iCademy Global is a tuition-free, K–12 virtual school headquartered in West Michigan. We know that a great education doesn't have to take place in a classroom. It's about personalized attention between teachers and students, parents and teachers, and students and their peers. When students, families, and staff work together as a community, it gives students all the tools they need to reach their goals.

We are seeking a High School Mentor and Business and Career Teacher to provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction to students in grades 9-12 in a primarily virtual environment with limited on-site expectations.

• Build positive relationships with mentee students and families
• Advocate for students with the teaching team and hold students accountable to academic and engagement expectations
• Help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally
• Deliver high-quality high school elective instruction aligned to Michigan Academic Standards
• Plan and facilitate asynchronous lessons
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including students with IEPs and 504 plans
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and documentation
• Communicate regularly with students and families
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
• Participate in meetings, professional learning, and required school events
• Uphold iCademy Global policies and expectations

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement in one of the following areas or ability to obtain (GH, GX, GQ, TE, IX, TX OR CIP codes: 10.0301, 11, 14, 15, or 52)
• Experience teaching/coaching high school students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfort using technology and virtual learning platforms

• Experience in a virtual or blended learning environment
• Familiarity with Michigan Academic Standards
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Primarily remote with scheduled on-site requirements
• On-site one day per week during the school year (Tuesdays)
• Additional on-site attendance required for state testing, graduation, and new student orientation
• Reliable internet access and appropriate home workspace required
• Full-time, exempt
• School-year position

• Additional compensation is available based on verified years of relevant experience.
