The Entry Level Engineer supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of mechanical or electrical systems and products used in manufacturing operations. This role works closely with senior engineers, production teams, and cross‑functional partners to translate concepts into practical, cost‑effective, and manufacturable solutions.

You will gain hands‑on experience in product design, process improvement, testing, and troubleshooting while contributing to projects that directly impact safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Design & Development:
    Assist in the design and modification of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software. Support new product development and engineering change initiatives.
  • Engineering Documentation:
    Create and maintain detailed drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Testing & Validation:
    Support prototype builds, testing activities, and validation efforts to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Document results and recommend improvements.
  • Manufacturing Support:
    Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Identify root causes and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Participate in Lean and process improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving throughput, and enhancing product quality.
  • Project Support:
    Contribute to cross‑functional engineering projects by tracking timelines, updating project documentation, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Ensure engineering solutions align with applicable codes, standards, and internal safety policies.
Requirements

Additionally, we're looking for the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 0-3 years of experience in related field
  • A U.S. citizen or green card holder
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus!
Recommended Experience

Internship, co‑op, or project‑based experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Creo).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Skills
  • Analytical Thinking:
    Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to solve technical problems and evaluate design alternatives.
  • Problem‑Solving:
    Strong aptitude for identifying root causes and developing practical, data‑driven solutions.
  • Communication:
    Clear verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, operators, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail:
    High level of accuracy in engineering calculations, documentation, and design work.
  • Team Orientation:
    Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and contribute positively in a collaborative engineering environment.
