Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues and quality defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and materials to enhance capabilities.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, SPC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and implement solutions.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for fixture design or process layout
• Familiarity with robotics or automation systems in a manufacturing setting
• Project management experience, particularly in leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning or data analysis
