POSITION OVERVIEW The Systems Engineer I supports systems design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing.

WHAT YOU’LL DOSupport systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.

Contribute to system architectures including interface definition and description.

Conduct system tests using procedures and methods for system verification and validation.

Learn analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test.

Participate in cross-functional design reviews.

Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.

Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.

Other duties as assigned.

Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

WHAT WILL HELP Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Professional work experience in new product development.
