The Manager, Logistics Strategy and Optimization is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and evolving ODL’s logistics approach to support growth, margin, and customer experience. This role goes beyond day-to-day execution, focusing on designing scalable logistics strategies, optimizing networks and transportation models, and driving data-informed decisions across domestic and international operations. The Manager partners closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure logistics capabilities align with enterprise objectives today and into the future.

The Impact You’ll Drive:
  • Define and evolve ODL’s logistics strategy, aligning network design, transportation models, and service levels with business growth, margin, and customer expectations.
  • Lead logistics planning and decision-making across domestic and international operations, including carrier strategy, freight models, and risk mitigation.
  • Own logistics performance governance, establishing KPIs, targets, and executive-level reporting tied to cost, service, and reliability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, and IT to evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize investments, and support enterprise initiatives.
  • Guide technology and analytics strategy for logistics (TMS, visibility tools, data architecture), ensuring tools enable insight—not just execution.
  • Identify and lead transformation initiatives, including network optimization, cost-to-serve analysis, and scalability planning.
  • Build leadership capability within the logistics organization, setting expectations, developing talent, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What Sets You Up for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience owning or influencing enterprise logistics strategy, not just execution
  • Experience supporting multi-site or global operations
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory, and customs compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), ERP systems (Oracle, SAP or similar) and TMS (Oracle OTM or similar).
  • Open to travel up to 10%, mostly domestic but occasional international travel may be required.
