Receive, store, and pull raw and finished goods through the facility in a safe, accurate and timely manner, along with the proper part tracking.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*** Change powered equipment fork lift battery as necessary and wears appropriate safety equipment as posted in battery changing area.
* Completes required transaction/paperwork correctly using hand held terminals, personal computers or forms to ensure accuracy.
* Verifies that the goods match the transaction and ensures that goods are identified accurately.
* Ensures that powered equipment license is kept current.
* Follows ISO work instructions related to position and other departmental requirements. Performs daily safety inspections.
* Maintains a clean, safe work area environment according to 5s and department safety guidelines.
* Free from debris on floor, racks, dock areas and trailers.
* Communicates problems or issues to department supervisor or the maintenance department. Works overtime as needed.
* Moves product, components or materials to or from production areas, warehouse rack locations, staging areas and trailers in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
* Operates equipment, powered stand-up fork lifts and order pickers, and manual two wheel dollies in a safe manner, ensuring that equipment is kept clean and free of debris.
* Performs accuracy checks as required. Flexibility to work varied hours (surrounding assigned shift) as business needs require.
* Regular and predictable attendance based on scheduled hours.
* Participates in HMPS improvement activities.
* Rotates through the department workstations based on business need.
* Works independently without direct supervision.
* Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
* Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

*** One of the following is required: (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency Forklift operator’s license within 30 days of acceptance of position

*** Competent in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
* Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.
* Demonstrated willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment.
* Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms for the duration of the shift.
* Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 60 lbs.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
* Required to talk and to be able to hear and see with or without correction.
* All employees in safety-sensitive positions, including Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) operators, are subject to additional pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing throughout their employment.
