Senior Machine Builder

Extol, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, team-driven Senior Machine Builder to support the assembly of hot plate weld tooling and standard machine build activities. In this hands‑on role, you’ll assemble, wire, plumb, and debug tooling from initial build through processing while working closely with design engineers, machinists, and fellow builders to deliver high‑quality solutions that make a direct impact on our products and processes.

• Assembles and debugs tooling from simple to complex builds, including mechanical assembly, wiring, and pneumatic systems.
• Reads and interprets technical documentation such as prints, schematics, and 3D models to ensure accurate builds.
• Takes ownership of tooling builds and processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely completion.
• Collaborates with design, project management, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Identifies problems and implements solutions, contributing to continuous improvement of standard manufacturing processes.
• Maintains organization and attention to detail in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong technical or mechanical background.
• Experience in assembly, tool building, or a related manufacturing environment (not entry‑level).
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and 3D models.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
