The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Metrology Technicians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and other measurement system analyses.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
• Provide technical support and training to colleagues on metrology best practices.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate measurement techniques.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in a metrology or quality control role within manufacturing
• Proficiency with various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
