The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Mechanics. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with PLC-controlled machinery
- Knowledge of robotic systems, especially for material handling or assembly
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance
- Certification in a specialized skill, such as welding, hydraulics, or electrical systems beyond basic requirements
