Saw Operator PP Panel - Plastics; 1st Shift

As a Saw Operator PP Panel you will be using appropriate saw, cut honeycomb material into designated shape and size to meet specifications. Inspect, and finish material and prepare for shipment.

Currently there is an opening for a Saw Operator PP Panel in our Plastics division on 1st shift (Monday
- Thursday 6:30AM to 4:30PM)
Plastics Saw Operator PP Panel:
Starting at $18.90 per hour!

Key Responsibilities:

Determine the customer requirements per the work order.

Identify what material needs to be cut for the day from the production work order.

Obtain raw honeycomb materials from extrusion/expansion areas.

Set up saws according to cutting instructions.

Cut honeycomb into shapes and sizes designated by the customer requirements.

Perform and record all necessary information to ensure traceability and quality.

Report production results at the end of the shift on all necessary documents and or software.

Properly dispose of scrap material per Plascore, Inc. non-conforming material procedure.

Properly dispose of scrap material to ensure traceability.

Follow all work orders and process specifications.

Monitor equipment and maintain in good working order.

Perform inventory checks on a quarterly basis.

Assist other production areas as required.

Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.

Improve job efficiency and performance through idea suggestions.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Help remove blocks from frames.

Assist extruder operators during breaks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work overtime

Mechanically inclined
