Heavy Equipment Operator

Michigan Wood Fibers is looking for afull-time, year-round, 1st shift

Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Zeeland, MI. Our operators typically spend their day in the running tub grinders, moving equipment and product indoors and out, and building up and maintaining our large mulch piles!

As aHeavy Equipment Operator with Michigan Wood Fibers, you must be:

• Reliable, our operators are a huge part of our success and are critical to be here when we need them
• Experienced in both Heavy Equipment (Loaders preferably) and Forklift
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge to meet and exceed the days production expectations
• Full-Time first shift schedule- consistent overtime usually starts in March, runs through early summer and includes Saturdays (periodic overtime throughout the rest of the year)
• Capableofoccasional heavy lifting- up to 50 lbs
• Strongly committed to safety
• Respectful of company equipment as if it were your own
• Able tomeet pre-employment requirements- criminal background check, motor vehicle check, physical and drug screen test
• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
