Charge Nurse (RN) Full Time
Facility:
Medilodge of Zeeland
Starting Wages: $49.40-$57.52 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 for Full-Time Employees (two-year payout, limited time availability)
Shift: 6PM-6AM with every other weekend rotation

- Starting Wages at $49.40-$57.52 per hour
- Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, and a $5/hr weekend warrior program.

- Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing. - Licenses/Certification:
Valid RN license in the state employed. - Licenses/Certification:
Valid CPR certification. - Experience:
One year of nursing experience preferred. - Job Functions:
Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans. - Job Functions:
Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs. - Job Functions:
Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders. - Job Functions:
Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications. - Job Functions:
Supervises, directs and evaluates LPNs and CNAs. - Job Functions:
Administers medications, starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations. - Job Functions:
Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel. - Job Functions:
Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act. - Job Functions:
Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner. - Job Functions:
Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents. - Job Functions:
Coordinates nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments. - Job Functions:
Interviews applicants and recommends hires. Participates in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff, to extent permitted by state practice act. - Job Functions:
Supervises nursing unit, which includes scheduling and directing the nursing staff to extent permitted by state practice act. - Job Functions:
