Quality Engineer | Zeeland, MI

Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Analyze production processes and identify areas for quality improvement.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality at all stages.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools for data analysis.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality methodologies.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with Minitab or other statistical software
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• SAP QM module experience
