Inspection Technician | Zeeland, MI
Salary Range: $49,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with quality procedures.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
- Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification
- Experience with various measurement tools (e.g., CMM, micrometers, calipers)
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T)
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
