Micro​/Allergen Lab - Night Shift

We're seeking a QC Environmental Microbiology & Allergen Laboratory Analyst to join our Environmental Microbiology and Allergen Laboratory Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with microbiology testing, allergen analysis, quality systems, and food safety programs that directly impact the products consumers trust every day.

💰 Pay: $26.25/hour
🕒 Schedule: five 8-hour shifts a week, Sunday-Thursday 8pm-4am

As a key member of our Quality team, you'll:

✅ Perform environmental microbiology sampling and testing throughout the facility
✅ Conduct environmental and finished product allergen testing using a variety of methodologies
✅ Utilize laboratory techniques including ELISA, PCR, cultural methods, and biochemical assays
✅ Coordinate testing schedules and communicate results to stakeholders
✅ Support process improvements and continuous quality initiatives
✅ Assist with laboratory systems management, documentation, and regulatory compliance
✅ Help maintain the highest standards of food safety and product quality

🔹 Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent laboratory experience)

🔹 Experience with microbiology laboratory techniques and hygienic practices
🔹 Familiarity with ELISA, PCR, culture methods, and biochemical testing preferred
🔹 Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
🔹 Excellent documentation and data management abilities
🔹 Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory-related software (GLIMS, Optiva, SAP, etc.)
🔹 Ability to work independently and contribute to team success
🔹 Comfortable working in a dynamic production environment while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
