** Zeeland, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols to help spot unusual activity, support access control, and respond to alarms and incidents. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, document observations, and deliver outstanding customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and direct traffic and deliveries to designated check-in areas in accordance with post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken, and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.

+ Complete routine reporting, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and assist with basic security-related inspections such as checking doors, gates, and lighting for irregularities.

* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
