Electrician - Night Shift

We are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5000 for all new hires for our Maintenance Roles.

• This job is based on rotating shift which are 5:00am to 5:00pm or 5:00pm – 5:00am. 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, and 2 days off, some Sunday work is required based on reworks.
• 1 year of maintenance experience education preferred (I.e., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
• Electrician license or journeyman license preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience.
• Must have experience in hydraulics, welding, and compressed air systems.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals.
• Must be able to work with pumps, hydraulics, and welding.
• Understanding of electrical theory and system wiring and installation.

• With minor supervision provide maintenance support to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs and emergency mechanical or electrical repairs; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and interact with plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals.
• Maintain basic understanding of electrical theory and system wiring and installation.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

• Education:
  
  1 year of maintenance experience education preferred (I.e., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school).
• Electrician license or journeyman license preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent; experience in hydraulics, welding, and compressed air systems.
• Basic computer skills to log information, process daily work orders and complete mandatory documentation; must learn to use CMMS.
• Must communicate effectively and possess basic math skills.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs occasionally; lift 20 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to work in confined, tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize ladder, operate lift, bend, and stoop.
• Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent overhead work.
• Tolerance to temperatures inside plant from
  -25 to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be required.
• Basic math skills: percentages, fractions, measurements.
