Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the Zeeland and West Michigan area. This position is ideal for a technician with strong mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls troubleshooting skills who enjoys solving complex equipment problems and working independently in commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related failures
- Repair or replace defective components and calibrate system controls
- Service heating, cooling, refrigeration, and associated mechanical systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform brazing, soldering, and piping work as required
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
- Previous commercial/industrial HVAC/R service experience required
- EPA Refrigerant Certification
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and equipment schematics
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
- Flexibility for occasional overtime and rotating on-call responsibilities
- Associate degree, HVAC trade school, or equivalent technical certification
- Strong brazing, soldering, and piping skills
- Additional HVAC/R industry certifications
- Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- VRF/VRV systems
- Heat pumps
- Steam and hydronic systems
- CSD-1 testing
- Commercial circulation pumps

Work Environment & Schedule- Full-time commercial/industrial service position
- Work in mechanical rooms, on rooftops, production floors, and outdoor environments
- Occasional overtime required
- Rotating on-call responsibilities
- Primarily local service work with limited travel outside the West Michigan market
- $30.00-$50.00/hour, based on experience
