Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments of robotic components and end-effectors.
- Conduct robot teaching, path adjustments, and minor program modifications for production optimization.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new robotic equipment.
- Document maintenance activities, repair histories, and system performance logs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with high-voltage and moving machinery.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
- Strong understanding of PLC logic and industrial control systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing complex robotic and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and preventative maintenance.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis or custom applications.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet).
- Basic CAD software proficiency for reviewing mechanical designs or cell layouts.
