Truck Driver CDL A

Position Description

Class A CDL Extra Board Truck Driver – Zeeland, MI.

Weekly pay of $1,320 or more; hourly rate $27.81; guaranteed 45 hours per week. Schedule Monday‑Friday, start time 6:00 PM.

Deliver (SOLOTo:MI) locally, home daily with a day cab & 26’ box truck and a dry van 48’ or 53’. Heavy touch – auto parts. Hazmat endorsement preferred. Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fuel at over 800 facilities nationwide.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load and unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide an appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months of experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years of experience within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Some positions require additional screening, which may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or additional customer background requirements.
