Responsibilities

* Lead an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or VPK classroom

* Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

* Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum

* Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans

* Track and document children's developmental progress

* Build strong relationships with families through daily communication

* Ensure compliance with all DCF licensing standards and health and safety requirements

* Mentor Assistant Teachers and support a collaborative classroom environment

* Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development

Qualifications

Required:

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early learning program

* High School Diploma or GED

* Completion of DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training (or willingness to obtain)

* Ability to meet all Florida licensing requirements

* Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred:

* Active CDA Credential

* Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

* Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

* CPR and First Aid Certification

* Experience as a Lead Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, VPK Teacher, Infant Teacher, or Toddler Teacher
