The Zion site is home to an established adult hematologic malignancy and stem cell transplant practice with state-of-the-art technology and an experienced team. It is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and is a member of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
City of Hope faculty appointment is offered for this role.
Position Highlights- Clinical responsibilities include diagnostic services to support the clinical care of patients with hematological malignancies and general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations.
- Join a team of 3 Pathologists plus a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists.
Location details:
Zion, IL — 60-minute drive to downtown Chicago, with access to Chicago amenities and a lower cost of living. Enjoy scenic views, beaches, and outdoor activities along Lake Michigan and Millennium Park. Excellent school systems in the area.
- Provide diagnostic services for hematologic malignancies and general surgical pathology.
- Contribute to clinical interpretations and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- MD or equivalent medical degree and eligibility for an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
- Board Certification in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology is required.
- Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology.
