EDU Healthcare has an exciting new opening for School Social Workers in a supportive district near Zion, IL! The district is actively interviewing licensed clinicians who are passionate about supporting students’ social-emotional and behavioral success.
Responsibilities:- Provide counseling and support services for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to promote student success
- Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings as needed
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators to support student growth and well-being
- Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community resources
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and licensing requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker (per state requirements)
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Work in a structured, school-based setting with evenings, weekends, and holidays off
