School Psychologist - Zion, IL

This contract opportunity spans the academic year from mid-August 2026 through late May 2027, with full-time hours averaging 33.25 per week. As an in-person role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster student success and well-being.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in educational psychology or closely related field
• Completion of at least one year of internship under supervision of a credentialed school psychologist
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement for School Psychologist
• Experience or readiness to work with diverse elementary and secondary student populations
• Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, consultation, and prevention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for students district-wide
• Consult with teachers and staff regarding student behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for at-risk students
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA, Section 504)
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with functional behavioral assessments and positive behavior supports
• Offer training and support to school personnel and families on best practices relating to student mental health and learning needs
