• Active and valid Professional Educator License (PEL); please be prepared to provide a current copy during the application process
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher or in a related educational support capacity
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation in resource room settings
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering independence and academic growth among students with diverse learning needs

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction for students in the resource room, adapting content to their unique learning profiles
• Engage in direct teaching, co‑teaching, and collaborative planning with general education staff
• Effectively manage a caseload, facilitating IEP meetings and progress monitoring
• Build trusting relationships with students to promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
