Instructional Aide (Special Education)
Location:
Zion-Benton Twp. High School
Reports To:
Division Chair for Special Education and Director of Special Education
Term: 180-day contract (teacher attendance days). Union affiliated.
General Responsibilities:
- The instructional aide assists teachers with preparing instructional materials
- Supports the delivery of instruction
- Assists students in understanding their coursework and instructional technologies
- Provides assistance with completing associated departmental tasks
Qualifications:
- Must meet ISBE paraprofessional requirements for instructional aides
- College degree preferred
- Two years of related experience desired
- Prior experience with high school students a plus
