• Valid certification or license as a Special Education Teacher
• Proven experience working in special education, including resource or co-taught settings
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to deliver accommodations
• Expertise in middle school English Language Arts curriculum and instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Ability to foster a positive, supportive learning environment for diverse learners

• Co-teach and deliver support in 8th grade ELA classes, collaborating closely with the classroom teacher
• Provide targeted resource instruction tailored to students IEP goals and present levels of performance
• Adapt materials and instructional strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs
• Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Partner with families and staff to create a supportive, effective educational experience
• Foster student independence, self-advocacy, and social-emotional development

• Compensation for this position ranges from $28.05 to $48.05.
