Empower the next generation of technology innovators as a full-time 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher in a dynamic middle school setting near Zion, IL. This onsite position is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and make a meaningful impact throughout the entire school year, from August 17 to May 27, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline
• Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s)
• Solid understanding of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom instruction
• Proven ability to foster a positive, engaging learning environment for adolescent learners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative, standards-based technology lessons tailored to 7th and 8th grade students
• Utilize modern instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement
• Assess, track, and support individual student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers and staff to support school-wide initiatives
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, guardians, and stakeholders

With this contract position, you’ll play a pivotal role in preparing students for the digital world, working onsite within a supportive and collaborative educational community.
