This full‑time contract role spans the academic year, running from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (including a 30‑minute unpaid lunch). Your expertise as a Registered Nurse or Special Education Teacher, especially with experience in school settings, will be essential in providing compassionate care and educational services.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (required for RN candidates)
• Several years of experience working with children in school settings strongly preferred
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs is desirable
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students

• Deliver care and health services to students as prescribed in their care or education plans
• Collaborate with educators and staff to address the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Implement and monitor individualized education and health support plans (IEPs and IHPs)
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulatory policies
• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
