School Registered Nurse (RN) in Zion, IL

This full-time role is designed for a skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for providing care in an educational setting. Youll work collaboratively to foster a safe, healthy environment for students and staff.

As a School RN, you will play a crucial role in facilitating student health plans, medication administration, and acute care for a diverse student body. This position offers a structured weekday schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunchensuring you can achieve a work-life balance while making a direct impact.

• Current RN license in good standing
• Several years of nursing experience in a school environment (required for consideration)
• Previous work as a School Nurse or CSN (Certified School Nurse) preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and medication administration skills
• Ability to coordinate with educators, parents, and community resources
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor student health care plans
• Handle chronic health conditions, acute illness/injuries, and medication management
• Conduct student health screenings as required
• Serve as a resource for health education and wellness within the school
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support professionals to promote safe learning
