Cleaning Technician

Overview

Ram Pro specializes in cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems throughout the Midwest, ensuring NFPA 96 compliance and preventing fire hazards.

• Work with a team of 2-6 technicians on full kitchen exhaust system cleaning.
• Clean, scrape, and remove grease from kitchen exhaust systems, kitchen equipment, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Operate hand tools and scrapers.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, water heaters, and wet vacs.
• Prepare sites for service by covering equipment with plastic, wrapping hoods, protecting outlets, and covering food.
• Clean up sites after service.
• Drive work vans to and from job sites.

• Demonstrates attention to detail with physical tasks.
• Maintains a consistent customer‑centric orientation.
• Must be able to work night shifts (10pm–6am; day shift work is also available).
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• One year of customer service experience (preferred).
• Mechanical knowledge (preferred). Commercial hood cleaning certification is a plus.
• Physical ability to work in all weather conditions (outdoors and indoors), hot or cold.
• Ability to crawl into confined spaces and climb up/down ladders.
• Ability to perform general physical activities and lift up to 70lbs.

Wage rate is between $19.50 and $25/hour, based on experience and ability. Paid vacation is available (eligible to accrue after 6 months). Rampro is an equal‑opportunity employer. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
