MissionResponsible for general boarding of passengers and assisting with any special needs thatarise.
ProfileAll Shuttle Hosts receivework directions from the Director of Operations and the Operations Supervisors and direct their questions to the Director of Operations.
The following is intended to be descriptive but not necessarily all inclusive ofthe functions of Parks Transportation’s Shuttle Host.
- Must be familiar with the operation of theshuttle system.
- Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance in proper uniform.
- Maintain the que-line of passengers.
- Handle Shuttle questions and complaints.
- Preserve and enhance the quality of life for Zion National Park, by observing Parks Transportation, Inc.’s guiding principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Have excellent Customer Service
Mental Functions
Required:
Must be able to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to communicate clearly and sufficiently with the Parks Transportation office andother vehicle operators over hand-radios and in person.
Exposed to hot, cold andrainy weather; humidity; road conditions, traffic fumes and traffic hazards,dust, communicable diseases and loud noises.
Protective Equipment
Required:
Gloves, protective clothing, shoes with adequate tread and,if needed, dust mask, back-support belt. Safety Vest
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Seasonal from March 7th to October 24th
Pay Rate $22.84/HR
High school graduate or GED
Must be at least 18 years ofage.
