Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

30-Day Project | 20-24 Hours per Week | Hybrid/Remote

Our client in the service industry is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their accounting team for a 30-day project. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on A/R and cash application experience who is looking for a short-term, flexible assignment.

Responsibilities

+ Process cash applications and credit card payments

+ Contact customers by phone to obtain updated payment information

+ Send customer statements as requested

+ Accurately apply and record customer payments

+ Assist with additional accounts receivable tasks as needed

Schedule & Work Arrangement

+ 20-24 hours per week

+ Work hours must fall between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday

+ Must be available to train in the office during the first week

+ After training, the remainder of the 30-day project can be worked remotely

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A/R professional seeking a part-time, short-term project with remote flexibility after training.

Qualifications

+ 3+ years previous accounts receivable, cash application, or payment processing experience

+ Comfortable contacting customers by phone regarding payment information

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Good communication and customer service skills

+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment
