Payroll Specialist

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 depending on experience

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team on the north side of Indianapolis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and is committed to accuracy and compliance. The Payroll Specialist will manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and serve as a key resource for employees and leadership.

• Process bi‑weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain payroll records, employee data, and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Review timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and verify hours, deductions, and adjustments.
• Administer payroll-related benefits such as garnishments, PTO, bonuses, and reimbursements.
• Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and external auditors as needed.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to support onboarding, offboarding, and compensation updates.

• 2+ years of payroll experience required
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, or similar).
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
