Campus Maintenance Technician

St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish in Zionsville is seeking a detail‑oriented, mission‑driven Maintenance Technician to join our team. This key role supports the life of our parish by overseeing campus‑wide maintenance activities, including scheduled and emergency work, preventative maintenance, special projects and working with volunteer groups.

• Completion of scheduled and urgent maintenance of parish building interiors and exteriors, utilities, fire systems, access systems, kitchen equipment, doors and windows, sidewalks and parking lots, tools and equipment
• Routine maintenance and light repairs of parish owned tools, machinery and equipment
• Support vendor-driven and in‑house upkeep of the grounds to include lawn care, pond care, bug control, snow removal, parking lot maintenance, landscaping and all walkways and sidewalks
• Available to be on‑call for emergencies and back‑up support

• Minimum of 5 years related experience in the field of maintenance, construction, landscaping and facility management is desired
• Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems with the ability to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs safely and effectively. Formal certification, licensure or degree‑level expertise is not required; practice‑hand‑on experience is preferred
• Able to complete work both indoors and outdoors
• Demonstrated ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, power equipment, lifts and ladders and standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers and smartphones
• Strong organizational and communication skills
