Witham Hospital operates two fast-paced Emergency Departments located in Lebanon#(17 beds)#and Anson#(14 beds), serving patients of all ages and equipped to handle a wide range of emergent disease processes. Our highly trained staff is adept at assessing and treating conditions such as chest pain and abdominal emergencies, providing continual assessments, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and emergent drug knowledge. Our team, consisting of Registered Nurses, Charge RNs, Emergency Department Technicians, Medication Reconciliation Technicians, Board Certified Emergency Medicine#providers, and advanced practice providers, work collaboratively to ensure comprehensive patient care.

We maintain low staffing ratios that foster high morale and a culture of support, enabling our team to deliver exceptional care. Ongoing training and education extend beyond basic emergency department knowledge, with strong backing from leadership. Our close working relationship with onsite EMS enhances our response capabilities. Nurses enjoy a significant degree of autonomy through nurse-driven protocols, and our Shared Governance has implemented impactful changes for both staff and patient care.

Minimum Education /License/Certification Requirements Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. BSN preferred. Must hold a valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana and be CPR certified. Additional certifications are dependent on assigned care. RN is responsible for continuous self-professional development by attending seminars and maintaining CEU#s. The RN agrees to notify their supervisor should they need additional training pertaining to any area of their assigned duties.
