, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will use screening technology and follow site procedures to help identify security‑related concerns, support smooth daily operations, and provide professional communication.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following site‑specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and documented screening requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documents, and/or visitor information to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to loading, shipping, receiving, and other high‑traffic operational areas.

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
