Job Purpose

  • Work closely with commercial, operational, and finance teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals, optimize pricing models, and respond to market dynamics in the renewable fuels industry.
  • Understanding and interpreting regulations, especially in the EU, and their implications on pricing and market dynamics.
  • Guide sales planning on value optimization
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for all product lines, considering market trends, competition, and customer segments.
  • Lead the analysis of market data, customer insights, and cost structures to set optimal pricing and discounting policies.
  • Track regulation change in EU countries
  • Building and maintaining pricing models for EU countries
  • Guide sales in EU countries with value optimization
  • Collaborating with account owners to provide insights into short-term market movements
  • Participating in customer meetings to gather the most updated market information
  • Work closely with both internal teams and external customers to provide accurate and timely pricing insights
  • Collaborating with the market intelligence team to understand long-term regulatory changes and their impacts
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards across different European markets.
  • Drive continuous improvement of pricing tools, processes, and systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Over 10 years of experience in regulatory and pricing analysis, particularly focused on the EU market.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the renewable fuel industry
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory information
  • Track regional supply and demand movement in both fuel and carbon market
  • Familiarity with market intelligence and commercial strategies
  • Deep understanding of European energy markets, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Strong organizational skills, high sense of urgency, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in English, other language is well preferred (Dutch/Germany)
