Job Description
EMEA Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a global industry leader that operates across four continents. We are seeking an experienced regional or global finance leader who can act as a strategic business partner to the regional leadership team.
This opportunity offers you the chance to enhance the regional financial strategy whilst supporting business goals and driving organizational growth.
You will lead a large-scale regional finance team, promoting continuous improvement through a culture of collaboration and accountability.
This role is based in Zug on a hybrid model, and will also involve international travel to support the countries within the region.
As our client is a multi-site industrial manufacturing organization, the role will suit someone with an in-depth understanding of cost structures and standard costings.
You will also oversee the annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models, and identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency.
The role is ideal for someone with experience in leading change in a multinational organization and a background in plant controlling, operational finance, or product costing.
The main duties of the VP Finance EMEA:- Act as a strategic advisor to the regional leadership team, providing financial insights
- Develop the financial strategy of the region to support organisational growth
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas to improve operational efficiency
- Oversight of the preparation of regional annual budgets, forecasts and financial models
- Drive efficiency across financial operations in alignment with corporate policies
- Lead the regional finance, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong relationships
- Significant experience in finance in a multi-site manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in plant controlling, operational finance, or product costing
- In-depth knowledge of production economics, cost structures, and standard costing
- Capable of aligning the financial strategies with the wider business strategy
- Excellent business partnering skills at the senior operational level with a history of leading change
- English language skills to a professional level, other languages are beneficial
