Position: 6-month Internship - Private Infrastructure (Europe Studentjob.ch

What It's About

This role is part of the Private Infrastructure team of Partners Group (direct investment team). We apply a value-add investment framework across the Energy, Transportation, TMT and Social infrastructure sectors.

As part of this internship, you will support the Infrastructure Directs team on all aspects related to sourcing and execution of private infrastructure investment opportunities:

  • Modeling business plans, LBO structures and investment returns
  • Participating actively in due diligence work streams on prospective investments (e.g. Financial, commercial, tax and legal due diligence)
  • Drafting internal investment recommendation documents
  • Conducting various other tasks related to opportunity sourcing, market research, product reporting and marketing
  • Implementation of a value creation plan alongside management and supporting investment teams in the monitoring of existing investments

We are looking for a candidate to join the team for a 6-month internship
, starting in September 2026 (start date flexible).

  • Initial experience in Private Equity, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Leveraged Finance or Transaction Services
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent teamwork skills within international settings
  • English is our working language, any additional European languages will be considered a plus
