Director, BUHR as Cluster HR Head
Location:
Zug, Switzerland
The Cluster HR Head is a senior HR leadership role responsible for driving performance, execution excellence, and strategic alignment across a cluster of countries. The role serves as the primary BUHR reference for the VP of the EMEA De Puy Synthes Cluster 2, influencing decisions beyond the local market and shaping the HR agenda in line with EMEA and global priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the people strategy aligned with EMEA and global priorities.
- Partner with Business Leaders and Finance to deliver integrated business plans.
- Engage executive‑level stakeholders internally and externally.
- Lead leadership teams and drive organizational transformation.
- Oversee budget and P&L implications and long‑term workforce planning.
- Ensure governance, risk management, and enterprise alignment.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams, building leadership capability and a high‑performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, ethical, and governance standards applicable to the local Med Tech market.
- Ensure compliance with local labor law and internal policies; manage relationships with employee representatives and external labor bodies.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
- Represent the local organization in regional forums, contributing insights to broader EMEA decision‑making.
- Handle local document processing, records management, and compliance/admin tasks as required.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field;
Master’s or MBA preferred. - 12–15 years progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in Med Tech, Pharma or Healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi‑functional teams and managing complex business priorities.
- People‑management experience and strong understanding of the local healthcare environment.
- Proven ability to drive strategy execution and deliver results in a matrixed organization.
- Leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Travel up to ~25%, primarily within Switzerland and EMEA.
- Leadership certifications preferred but not required.
