Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a "Network Transformation Project Manager" to join our team. The role can be based in Switzerland but we are open for anywhere in EMEA – preferably UK and Italy. This role is expected to run through December 2027.
PURPOSE OF POSITIONAs part of the Network Transformation Team, this Project Manager role is responsible for driving the planning, coordination, and execution of network transition activities that enable the future-state Distribution & Transportation network. This is a critical component of a complex business separation and requires coordination across multiple work streams, markets, sites, and stakeholders. The position leads the delivery of distribution network transition initiatives, including project planning, key milestone tracking, risk and dependency management, as well as governance and communication across regions and functions.
The role ensures transitional activities are executed in line with defined timelines, standards, and transformation objectives while maintaining clear alignment with respective stakeholders. Working closely with regional and global cross-functional teams and stakeholders, the role enables operational readiness, issue resolution, and disciplined execution across defined network transformation initiatives.
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of network transition projects across distribution, transportation, and supply chain functions.
- Manage multiple complex, interrelated network transition sub-projects in parallel, maintaining focus on key deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, trackers, and governance documentation to support execution of network changes in line with FPX project methodology.
- Track transition milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution where required.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure readiness of operational, systems, infrastructure, and partner (3PL)-related activities supporting transformation priorities.
- Support execution of site transitional activities, including coordination of cutover planning, stabilization activities (hyper-care), and transition governance.
- Ensure transition activities remain aligned with defined standards, timelines, and future-state network objectives.
- Facilitate alignment, communication, and decision visibility across cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, IT, Digital, Procurement, Partner Management, and regional teams.
- Prepare reporting and updates for governance forums, including visibility into project progress, risks, mitigation actions, and key decisions.
- Maintain documentation of transition activities, after action reviews and best practices to support future deployments and continuous improvement.
- Support management of interdependencies between all network projects and broader transformation initiatives.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Strong foundation in project management, including FPX; knowledge of other methodologies is a plus.
- Proven experience leading complex, high-visibility projects or programs with multiple interdependent work streams in a regional or global matrix environment.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, project management, or transformation programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and drive engagement across functions and seniority levels.
- Experience managing complex project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance activities in environments with multiple priorities and interdependent work streams.
